How easy is it to get your camera out of the bag on the fly?

How easy is it to get your camera out of the bag on the fly? Do you have to take the bag off and take out that inner bag or is there an easy access zipper?

Also 2000cu seems rather large. Is there a smaller version for someone that might have 1 camera and maybe 1 additional lens and some ski gear?

Yes, you have to take the pack off your back. The pack has a rear entry that accesses the block. You don't have to remove the block. Dakine also makes the mission that is 1500 cu.inches as opposed to 2000cu.

Our bomb-proof camera home

I have taken many harsh digger's on to my back, while wearing this pack with lots of camera gear inside. It has always held up strong and our camera gear comes out intact! Killer pockets and space for essential backcountry equipment, food, and whatever else the day calls for... The back access and camera block are the greatest things to happen to snowboard/ski photography! No more fussing with pack straps and digging for you're camera. This setup is legit! Great pack to switch between buddies on runs to make sure everybody gets a photo experience to remember. Pictures are worth 1000 words, or more!
