Super Warm for Coldest Days
very warm but a bit bulky. I sized up based on feedback from a friend who has very large hands and I think I should have gone with what was actually my size. Other than that, they are very warm with the heater and work well on cold days.

Tried so many others, and this GLOVE Keeps my Hand warm,
So many other brands have failed to meet the standards that the Prevail has set. I am amazed at the functionality of this glove, I had had so many past failures, that I had set the bar very low. I can only state this is the first time I have slied all day and still had left-over battery charge. This maybe the best glove on the market, for me it has made the difference between enjoying the day skiing, and having to end the day early due to painfully cold fingers.

So far...warm and toasty!
Well made, very warm, functional heated ski gloves... I am beyond happy with this purchase. I have freezing cold hands on the slopes. These are exactly what I needed. Good price too.

Sizing of the OR Prevail Heated Gore-Tex
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
- Size Bought:
- XL
- Height:
- 6' 2"
- Weight:
- 215
I ordered the Outdoor Research Heated Gloves because a friend that I ski with wears them every ski day and has had very good results. I ordered a pair in the XL size as that is the largest size offered. There is no reference as to what glove size this relates to. When the gloves arrived the label in the glove shows Xl and under that 10. I need a glove size 12 or 13. I'm very disappointed they do not fit as they appear to be very well made, and I was looking forward to keeping my hands warm. I tried much more expensive heated gloves that the on / off switch fails. Please make these gloves in a XXL size 12 or 13.

Perfect gloves for all winter activities
I have ski'd and rode my motorcycle with them. Goretex is great and the heating element is perfect for cold or high winds days.

Cold hands in Steamboat Springs
I bought these as a Christmas gift for my wife, who frequently deals with cold hands while skiing in Colorado. After getting used to the fit of the gloves (mostly the gauntlet, which is understandably bulky because of the batteries), she now raves about how comfortably warm her hands are all the time. She has mostly just used the lowest setting while skiing, but the intermediate and max settings have been effective when needing to warm up quickly. On a particularly cold day, she also used the gloves to warm her toes during a short break in a warming hut. She has been very pleased with these gloves and I have won her appreciation: a win-win. I bought these gloves based upon a favorable review from Outdoor Gear Lab. I can see how the Hestra heated gloves may provide more dexterity, but the fit and design of these OR gloves is very good.
