Great lightweight hiking pants

I purchased these pants to have a lightweight pair of softshell hiking pants for a trip to Denali this summer. I recently wore them for a couple of hiking excursions up Pikes Peak, and they did not disappoint! The DWR finish helped keep my legs dry when postholing in knee deep snow, and the wind resistance was very beneficial as it was very windy throughout both hikes. I highly recommend these pants and will be buying additional pairs as they work great to climbing 14ers!

Solid pant w room for improvements

Got this pant for winter approaches and climbing. It's well constructed, stylish and mostly true to size. Where it can improve is fit - specially the cut around the butt area. You can see from promo pics it's pretty tight if you have any glutes. I would also say these could use a touch heavier fabric, with the high wear areas using the cordura fabric found in the ferossi crux. Lastly the integrated belt is great though the buckle is cheap plastic - would replace w something tougher or better yet - use side Velcro straps like you see in mtn biking shorts. Looking forward to thrashing these pants and updating this review in a few months.

Great active pants

Using for fat biking in the winter. Light, stretch, water resistant. Paired with a base layer than have worked great in temps from 0-20F.

Needs a short version

These are cool pants but they didn't fit me. Usually I wear a 34x31. I ordered a medium. The waist felt like a 33, and the hem felt like 32.5. Needs a short version and more color options please!

Five star pants

These are the most incredible pants. No matter how you treat them they always come back with a smile. One pair and you will agree with me. A must have for every man.

Tough AND stretchy!

I purchased this product for a mid weight, late fall and winter hiking pant that would stand up to southeast Alaska weather. I've been able to hike a few times with these pants in low 40s and upper 30s. I appreciated the stretch and the toughness of the pant. They held up to wind and light rain perfectly. Only negative is I'm not a fan of zippered front pockets because I'm always carrying a knife with a deep pocket clip. I found it annoying especially when I had to open pockets for ventilation.

On Point but needs a shorter option

I have only had these pants for snowshoeing and a few hours in town, and they are great as long as you have long legs. They were terrific in the field when tucked into my snow boots but had to be rolled up to length when in town. Not what I was looking for. As there was no short option, I hope they could be hemmed. OR., please make a short option and modify the design that allows for easy alteration post-purchase incorperating a straight seam above the zipper.
