Perfect for both outer and inner layer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well made, soft and comfortable. May buy another in a different color

Just perfect multisport wear. Very good product.

Excellent cold weather layer. Use it as a shirt for moderate cold, looks stylist + featured with just about everything one need from cold weather outdoor clothing. Super stretchable, breathable, warm and especially very good soft feel. Just loved it !! I wish there are more cool colors, I so want to buy second one.

Good product, but fit is WAY off.

This is a high quality layer, but the sizing is WAY off. I have always been an XL in Outdoor Research tops, and I was swimming in this when I tried it on, I will be returning it. I purchased exactly the same item two years ago in the same size (XL) and it fits completely different. What happened, OR?

Great for on the go

This quarter zip is perfect for any adventure. Has all the features I want and nothing extra, plus it fits great. The pocket on the side is perfect size for holding a phone while biking or hiking and it even has a small hole for headphones to slide through the inside. The material keeps you warm without ever overheating.

Fits great, wears well. Highly recommended!

Love the fit and quality - bought one a while ago and loved it so much, got another! I am 6'4" w/ 36/37 sleeve length and this piece of gear fits great! Long enough sleeves which is hard for me to find in general, let alone in outdoor gear. The quality is great from the stitching to the little zipper garage near the top to keep it from rubbing against neck/face - thoughtful detail. Fabric has nice stretch to it which allows ease of movement without binding. Great as a mid-layer for whatever season. Feel it breathes well and wicks moisture.

Great Midlayer

I used this shirt as a midlayer for Alpine skiing. I am 5' 10", 165 lbs and bought a size large. With my medium build the shirt fit good but just a tad long in the arms. I do not like my midlayer too tight but fit great without being baggy. Skiing in 40 F with just a base layer and a shell the shirt performed well.

I bought two of these

Outdoor research slim fit is the best fitting outdoor apparel on the market! I choose this over my much more expensive and fancier fleeces everything time.

Great versatile product!

I love this quarter zip, very breathable and have worn on warm sunny days with lots of sweat going uphill and in a snowstorm as a base/mid layer under a jacket. Preformed great both times! Also wear around just for fun. Only little issue is I wish it was a bit more skin tight as I primarily wear this as a base layer.

Great thin layer

I used it for a run this morning at about 30 degrees with pretty high East coast humidity. Awesome for layering and wicks well. Not too thick for high physical activity.

I literally wear this every day

I wear this shirt every day. It's not really a fleece...It's a little too light to wear as a mid-layer. I mostly wear this around the house over a T-shirt and it's the perfect weight. It's basically a quarter-zip long-sleeve, probably the same fabric weight as flannel but with an extremely soft almost velvety hand. I see why they call this "buttery". Good description. This is perfect for casual environments but if you're looking for a more technical base layer or light mid-layer, go with the vigor. I would prefer this with regular-length sleeves and no thumb loops, but really my only complaint is that you're out of stock in these because I really want to order another in blue.
