Awesome but odd fit:(

Familiarity:
I returned this product before using it

I have been using Ortovox gear for years but never have been able to afford a pair of their awesome ski/Alpine pants. Point being I have used the size calculator on Ortovox's website because I will say their size chart posted here really makes no sense and isn't accurate. Even over estimating my waist size at a 34.5, their size calculator told me I should get a medium. They fit perfectly except when I tried to close them. Not even close. I'm 6' 1 and roughly 170lbs. The legs and length are perfect but basically to get these to fit I'd need to have roughly a 29 to maybe a 30" waist. Right now I have between a 31 and 32. I got these at such a great deal so it's disappointing as they didn't have the next size up for the discounted rate. I'll be returning these sadly. I then went and bought 2 other pairs of Ortovox pants that are similar to these, their 3l Ortler pants and their 3l Guardian shell pants, in various other sizes. Obviously I'm not going to keep them all, and hoping that one will fit properly. This review is mainly to point out sizes are odd with many Ortovox products (but when you do find your size, all their gear I have has always been awesome and very durable) I would definitely recommend going to the Ortovox website and take their simulation to find out what size might work for you but even then be prepared to possibly return for another size. I will update this review and review the others that I have ordered( if I end up keeping any. ) I'm really hoping that one does fit because many of my friends have had these ski pants (or similar Ortovox hardshell pants and love them)
