When the wind starts to howl and rain is imminent, we unfurl the Nike ACG Storm-FIT Cascade Rains Full-Zip Jacket from its own pocket and zip it on before the first droplet falls. The 2.5-layer, seam-sealed construction shields us from the gusts and the torrent, while the cinchable hem and hood help seal out the elements. To keep our phone from getting bathed, we zip it inside one of the chest pockets. Once the sky clears, we stuff it back inside its pocket and clip it to our pack until it's needed again.
