Bust out the big gun.
Much like surfers riding big guns on gigantic waves, such as Maverics or Waimea, the Never Summer Summit Snowboard offers a much longer length for supreme stability and maximum float when you're attacking steep, big-mountain faces and the deepest snow on the planet. Its highly directional shape, massive tapering (19-millimeters), and slimmed-down pintail give the Summit a surfy feel when you're slashing windlips and arcing effortless pow turns.
Designed with a Rocker Camber profile, the Summit features rocker underfoot, further aiding in its ability to surf-slash your way down the mountain, whether you're chasing powder in Hokkaido or popping pillows in Baker's backcountry. There's camber from just outside the binding inserts, extending to the tip and tail, for added snap and power when you're driving in and out of turns. The added camber also makes this pow-specific stick able to carve groomers and hardpack without a hitch, something that most massively rockered pow decks can't do without feeling squirrely.
Using Never Summer's most extensive dampening, the Summit is equipped with a RDS 1+ Dampening System, absorbing chop, bumped-up snow, and variable conditions when the pow's all tracked up. Extended Carbon V laminates add extra control and drive to the tip and tail, while Elastomeric Underfoot Stabilizers reduce high-speed chatter when you're blasting at high speeds. Additionally, the Summit comes with ice-gripping Vario Power Grip sidecut and a speedy Durasurf XT Sintered 5501 base, allowing you to cruise through flat spots without bogging down in deep powder.
