Description

Just call it The Big Gun.

Pow junkies rejoice—the Never Summer Summit Snowboard is back for all your gnar-slashing, pillow-dropping, chute-straight-lining needs. The super-floaty elongated shape and R.C. profile keep you charging on top of the super-deep, while the progressive flex, Vario Power Grip sidecut and mega-damp feel keep you in control while navigating hardpack or chunder.

  • R.C. (Rocker & Camber) hybrid profile uses playful, floaty rocker between the inserts and powerful, grippy camber in the tip and tail
  • Directional Carbon V laminate uses carbon strips above and below the core for optimized edge control and a progressive flex with powerful turn exits
  • Lightweight Carbonium topsheet resists chips and scratches, and features a textured surface for better grip than a standard glossy topsheet
  • NS Superlight wood core for strength, durability, and pop at minimal weight
  • Tapered shape with pointy nose and tail for supreme float and effortless turn initiation
  • RDS1 dampening system absorbs tons of vibration for a smooth, stable ride
  • Sintered P-Tex sidewalls and tip/tail protectors for bombproof durability
  • Vario Power Grip sidecut blends together multiple radii to maximize stability and control at any speed
  • Durasurf XT sintered base with graphite additive for industry-leading speed and durability

Ordered the 172 but it rides like a 163 (not in a good way). The base is much softer than Never Summer Bases have been known for in the past. The edges are very rusted after two weeks of purchase. For this price how about some stainless steel? I would not recommend this board.
