If your kayak was made in 2005 or after, you can attach a rudder to your kayak with the Necky Single Touring Rudder Kit—the kit includes all of the parts and hardware you need. The rudder included in the kit is made of durable aluminum that stands up to run-ins with rocks, and with proper care, will last a lifetime. Once installed, you'll be able to deploy the rudder, control steering with easy-to-operate foot pedals, and lift the rudder back up in shallower water.
