Designed to provide the same amount of performance on the skintrack as on the descent, the Movement Shift Ski will handle long tours with ease, without compromising the fun factor on the way down. Light rocker in the tip keeps them playful while camber underfoot instills confidence when navigating technical terrain in variable conditions. The versatile 98mm waist will float through powder and crud, but won't bog you down when you're skiing tight chutes and hard pack. Their light weight is mainly credited to their cap construction and lightweight karuba wood and composite core, as well as thin-ply layers of tri-axial fibers and carbon laminated directly to the core. A layer of rubber placed directly above the edges help reduce vibrations, and seal out moisture to prevent delamination from occurring. Reinforced at the binding area with a layer of metal for a bomb-proof connection between binding and ski, you can ski into remote and isolated terrain with confidence without the worry of this ski failing on you.
