Great Product
I have not tried this particulal meal, but over the years in my survival, camping, and hiking efforts around the US, I have never been disapointed with any of the Mountian House products.

Disappointed
The veggie chorizo in this smelled AMAZING! I was so excited to try it and have another breakfast option… but it hardly tasted like anything. It was honestly like having a flavored seltzer - the smell almost makes you think you taste something, but not really. One of the very few Mountain House meals we haven’t liked.

Superb as always.
I travel to the U.S. annually from the UK and spend time in the wilderness enjoying Mountain House meals. They are the best trail freeze dried meals I have ever purchased - every packet is tasty and infinitely better than anything I can buy in the UK.

Great flavor
It had great flavor and will be a nice addition to mix up morning breakfast. It reminds me of the Breakfast Skillet meal, but with even more flavor from the chorizo. I really enjoyed this meal at home, so I know I will love it on the trail.

Easy and interesting but 2 different results
I bought this as an alternative to regular breakfast meat for my husband. It was good for me but he did not care for the veggie chorizo. He would prefer just eggs and veggies with no alternative meat option.

Veggie chorizo
This was my first time trying this meal. I tried it at home on a rainy day. It was surprisingly good! Very tasty. A tad bit spicy for ME. I added a bit of Velveeta squeeze cheese from a packet and it was VERY GOOD. I'm not vegetarian..but try different things now n then. My favorite is still BEEF STEW...I would eat it daily if I could afford it. Lol. Have not had the chance to have the others yet...saving them as emergency ration..fla. hurricanes. But have had them before and really enjoy them. I usually buy 1 or 2 at the store on grocery day. I like to eat them at home when I don't want to cook...I'm 70..I get lazy. I like I can have them from a camp stove..camp fire..anywhere anytime..NO muss no fuss a HOT hearty meal...on the road on the shore at the horse show or in my yard. Thank you!!! Just wish they were a bit less expensive..I'd buy more but social security only let's me buy a few at a time.

Favorite Breakfast
My husband and I have been car camping for years. We love to ski, hike, camp and don't like to spend a lot of time cooking. We've tried countless freeze dried meals. Our favorite is the Veggie Chorizo Breakfast Scramble. I'm a vegetarian my husband is not.

Solid breakfast option
Egg texture is not like freshly scrambled eggs, but the flavor and spiciness of the chorizo combine to make for a tasty breakfast. If tortillas are available, these chorizo eggs will make great breakfast taco/burrito. The Veggie chorizo eggs entree checks the boxes for meatless protein and spicy heat, and make a good addition to my emergency kit.
