Zipper broke after 3 months

I bought this for my boyfriend for his birthday in October. It is January and the zipper just broke. It's too bad because he really liked it.

This was a fantastic deal on a high quality jacket, and the fit is exactly as described. I am 6’4”, 205, and I got the XL. The jacket sits nicely around the waist with good fitted cuffs, and there’s no annoying “baggy” appearance you’ll find with a lot of fleece jackets. Sleeve length is really good, rare in a non-tall size anything. Warmth is excellent but not too warm, so I’d say it’s the perfect fall/early winter jacket. Will continue to buy from Backcountry and now Mountain Hardwear has a new loyal customer too.

I have used Mountain Hardwear products for over 20 years. This fleece is an excellent material and weight and black is a good color. However, after a few wearings the stiching near the wrist came undone with minimal movement and no outside trips. The end of the sleeve was poorly designed. QA issue or off-shoring made. Now I have to file a warranty claim.

I have had quite a few fleece jackets in the past, but this has quickly become on of my favorites. It is lightweight but yet very warm and doesn't hold light rain, I am 5'8" 172lbs with a 44in chest, I bought a size Large and the fit is perfect; slim-fit but enough room for physical activities. Great layering under a jacket or great on it's own, I loved it so much I just bought a second one Navy Blue and now the Red. and for the sale price you can't go wrong.

Great fleece super comfortable, good length in the arms which is a struggle sometime. Warm and breathable. Very happy with it.

This fleece is a mid-weight fleece with two zip hand pockets and a breast pocket for a phone. It is warm enough to wear when weather is in the 50's, and it breathes well and is comfortable to wear. The cut and design of it is also very good. I have usually bought Patagonia fleece items, but I wanted navy blue and it was out of stock so bought this instead. I am very happy with that decision.
