3

The jacket is stiff and fits more like medium. Rated 3 star due to the fit issues

Great fit, great jacket

I bought a L for layering under a gore'tex shell. Great fit, true to size. Not tight so room for a base layer.

Super comfy

For as light as this jacket it is surprisingly warm. Great for cool nights and layering. My wife loves it.

Unremarkable

The pros for this jacket are that it's very comfy, comes in a gorgeous bright blue, and it's on the warm side for its weight/thickness - I'd call it a midweight layer. But it just looks frumpy. The top half of the jacket fits well, but the lower half of the torso, which is a different material, is baggy and saggy. I'm 5'8" and about 125 pounds, and the XS fits me, except that the sleeves aren't long enough to make use of the thumb holes (but they are long enough as sleeves). I manged to snag the fabric on a sleeve, and I don't even know how I did it, so I wouldn't take it climbing outside, especially not crack climbing. It might survive the gym. That leaves me with a casual jacket that's definitely not worth the cost - minus a full star for the cost. I do like the smaller zipper slider, which seems less likely to be destroyed in my dryer.

Nice Jacket!

Ive worn this several times since I got it. It is true to size and I love it. Its very comfortable, washes up great. I dried it on the clothesline and it lo The inside is a small waffle type lightweight fleece that seems to be popular now. Im actually ordering another one in another color because I like it so much. Length on sleeves and overall is good. Plenty of length to cover most of my butt. Big deep pockets are a plus. This is great running errands when its cool out or camping or hiking. Taking it on a road trip next. It appears to be the same great quality I have come to expect from Mountain Hardware. Overall great jacket. I plan on wearing this for years.

Perfect Mid-layer jacket

Fabric is a nice soft fleece on the inside and soft shell on the outside. Best worn over a base layer because the sleeves are slim and silhouette is flattering. As a cyclist I like the secure zip hand pockets for holding my phone and keys when I ride.

Great Running Jacket

I've been wearing this for running when temps are a bit cooler and it's now my favorite cold weather running layer. I love material, it feels great against the skin and doesn't restrict movement.

Lt/Md weight mid layer

Love Mountian Hardwear quality! This sweater is great for heavy exercise days in cooler temps, it's light weight and not bulky, the grid system in the garment wicks sweat away well, would suggest as a mid layer for higher output activities, -10 Degrees C and up. Not warm enough for cold days. I am 5'6'' 150 lbs Athletic build purchased a size M, it fits great around my shoulders but a little baggy in my torso. I wear mine more spring fall conditions.
