Outstanding Heat for Size and Weight

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

The jacket is so light and packable, but it really performs exceedingly well. I have used it on Jackson Hole skiing when the wind was cutting, and it will be my new packable down for backpacking in the Sawtooths in the shoulder seasons. Great purchase with the sale!

Love the packable-ness.

Greta jacket. Stays in my car as a back up it is a bit wider than I thought. My OR zip down jacket fits better. But I do like the buttons of this one. Just a bit too wide.

Very warm and compact

General Use: This is a great jacket for several reasons. It is compact and folds nicely into a storage pocket. It is very warm and comfortable wear. To be fair I use it mostly as an additional under layer. I do this mainly because the snaps don't work as well in keeping out the wind. I have found that if I use this under a Puffer Jacket I get too warm at least into the 20s F. Traveling: This jacket is compact and stores into a 8x4x3 inch pouch, which is a zipped pocket in the interior of the Jacket. This will be my extra layer when I travel even in the summer when occasionally the weather get a little chill in some regions of the world. Exercising: I do use it as an outer layer when running or walking because the snaps do allow some cooling air in. If it is cold where I don't want vented air I just use a windbreaker like jacket as the outer layer. The jacket has plenty enough down to keep me warm down to at least the 20s F. Maybe lower I just haven't had the occasion to use it at that temperature.

Ghost Whisperer jacket

Excellent jacket. Zero felt wind on a motorcycle at 75 mph on a 40 degree Celsius day.

Gracious

Very warm jacket for how light it is. Warmth to weight ratio has to be comparable or unbeatable. I don’t think it would be a stand alone jacket under 30 per say but possibly with adequate base layers.

very warm, packs small

Extremely light weight and small pack size. Bought as a travel, pack-jacket to go with ultra light rain shell and ultra light down vest. Very warm, but also snug fit. Used it in cold (5 C) heavy rain, with a shell, in Eastern Europe recently and I was completely warm and dry. Probably would buy the full zip next time, the plastic snaps seem fragile and are awkward to line up in the dark

Nice and light but warm enough

I got this on sale and I’m glad I did. The snaps took some getting used to but it’s a great down jacket and I got it for a good price. I’d buy it again if I lost it.
