Super impressed

Super impressed! I was sitting with this in my cart for months finally my friend got one and was impressed with the feel of the material. I love how small it packs up. The weight is on point for a 0°f backpacking bag. Im 5'7" 190lbs and when inside the bag with just mypants and shirt not alot of room to move which is what you want but.... if your a little uncofratble not being able to move you might need to go with a bigger size. also if you wanted to add liners you might like the extra space. We live in Kodiak,AK always blowing and raining and this bag is what you want.

Good bag, not for large people.

Lightweight and water resistant. 5’8” skinny build fits good. Would not recommend for larger frame individuals. Worst part is does not have a draft tube under the neck so on a windy night the bag was a little chilly.

Amazing idea of a bag!

All these years sleeping bags have been approached by treating the feathers to be water resistant. How common sense and awesome is it to just have a vortex shell instead. I hope this becomes standard in cold weather bags, to have a gortex shell. Awesome!

Couldn’t be more happy with the bag and my purchase. Slept like a king in 7 degrees.

Bring on the curve balls

I've had a Banshee 0f/-18C with the dry.Q shell and Q shield Down for >12 years and I love the bag. Recently I took my wife and child rafting down the grand canyon and they had ... inferior bags. Unfortunately we had a couple very cold nights and a couple unexpected rainy nights where I hadn't setup a tent (because sleeping in a roll-a-cot under the stars is the BEST!). The girls were cold but with a water resistant bag with a low temperature rating I was just fine and wound up putting them in my bag while I setup tents to put them in and fended for myself. Prior to this my wife kept telling me that he bag was fine and she didn't need a new one. As soon as these went on sale I bought two. One for the wife and one for my daughter. MH makes a great bag. Though there are some differences between the Bishop pass and my Banshee the high level is the same, water resistant outer shell + down fill rated at 0f/-18c. With this bag you aren't too insulated because in warmer weather you can use it as a quilt or just sleep on top with a nice thermarest liner for warmth. The key is, this bag will handle all the unexpected wet/cold nights or last minute epic trips your friends come up with. It's relatively light so the extra weight doesn't matter. I haven't needed another bag for anything. Looking forward to my girls loving the outdoors in the comfort of these bags for many years to come.

Love the color

Color is such a good green color, not as pictured. Regular is good for 5’10” gal. Excited to get it out.

Poor Customer control (WHAT ELSE IS NEW)

Received as a present from my wife. I did not have the heart to tell her about my displeasure with the condition I received it in.

Nice and toasty.

I am replacing a 15 year old zero degree down bag and I am very impressed with the quality of this bag. I am 6’1” so I purchased the long bag. The outer material is very water repellent. There is ample insulation to keep everything nice and toasty. I have yet to use it out in the cold but I’m sure it’ll do great. The color in the picture doesn’t look as bad in person.
