Glacier SL 800 Sleeping Bag: 5F Down

Designed and built for cold, wet alpine environments, Mountain Equipment's Glacier SL 800 5 Degree Down Sleeping Bag offers lofty, weather-resistant warmth when you're bivouacked on a high mountain. The Glacier SL borrows its design from Mountain Equipment's line of ultralight Helium bags, but features a highly weather-resistant Dri Loft II outer fabric with a hydrostatic head of 1500mm for extra protection against weather.

Although slightly heavier than the Helium, the Glacier SL still maintains a respectable weight of two pounds and fifteen ounces in the regular length. The Glacier SL may be light, but it certainly isn't lacking in features—a five-baffle hood wraps your head in cozy warmth by virtually eliminating cold spots, while a draft collar, tube, and four-baffle foot box ensure head-to-toe warmth. Better still, the Glacier SL features a slanted box baffle construction, eliminating cold spots common to standard stitch-through baffles.
