Glacier SL 600 Sleeping Bag: 14F Down

Mountain Equipment's Glacier SL 600 Sleeping Bag is a light, compressible, and water-resistant bag ideal for the light and fast backpacker, alpinist, and winter enthusiast. Packed full of 725-fill down, the Glacier SL packs down small and weighs just over two pounds in both length options, giving it an excellent warmth-to-weight ratio.

The Glacier SL is designed similarly to Mountain Equipment's Helium bag, but features a highly water-resistant DriLite II outer shell with a hydrostatic head of 1500mm, making the bag a great option for winter camping, and exposed-to-weather bivys. The actual fit of the bag is an Alpine Fit mummy shape with wide shoulders and a tapered footbox for increased thermal efficiency. Slanted box baffles help to eliminate cold spots, and the five-baffle hood and four-piece foot box ensure all-encompassing warmth whether you're sleeping in a portaledge, tent, or snow cave.
