Sticky Vibram rubber soles use tough rubber and deep lugs to dig into loose trail surfaces, while tough leather uppers keep your feet safe from wilderness hazards that could send you packing home. Merrell designed these shoes for three-season day hikers with an eye on the summit and a preference for shoes over boots.

- Vibram Chameleon sole has an aggressive five-millimeter sole lug and tread pattern to provide significant traction on wet or dry surfaces
