Glued Insole
Recently purchased this and another pair of the Antora 3. The insoles are glued in at the ball of the foot. They are supposed to be removable. This used to be my favorite. And for the price sale or not this shouldn't be. The Antora 2 was better and the insole came out so you could place your own insole if needed. Guess I will be looking elsewhere in the future.

Too Small/Narrow
Im a size 8 all day long in Merrell shoe's, have atleast 12 different pair's. I could barely get my foot in with light socks on. When i did they were way too narrow at the toes, squeezing my foot. Uncomfortable and sadly had to return them. I also wasn't a fan of the design in person, they look nicer on the website. I've been loyal to Merrell since i waa 22 years old. I currently have 12 different pair's of all types, shoes, boots, hikers. Lately it's hard to find the next perfect shoe with this company. I actually purchased my first pair of Ascics so hopefully Merrell listens to the reviews and makes changes. I would hate to switch to another brand after being loyal this long.

Fit half size too small!
I really wanted to love these but they definitely run small. I normally take an 8 but these were squeezing my foot. I don't have wide feet by any means so if you do these won't work. I kept checking the tounge thinking they sent me the wrong size but they were an 8. Also wasn't a fan of the design in person, look better online. I wanted them for walking my fur-baby late at night but had to send them right back. I've been wearing Merrell shoe's for thirty years, very loyal. However this is the second pair I'm sending back. Sad that the sales will be over soon and I will have to pay full price for a pair. If your a 7.5 then an 8 should be fine. However if you're a full size like me then I suggest going up half a size in these. For whatever reason they're tight up against the Metatarsal area of the foot. I couldn't wait to get my foot out of the shoe unfortunately.

Lightning fast
I love the reflective lightning worked into the shoe design. Very well constructed and supportive trail shoe. Feels like a perfect fit. The elastic band over the tongue is a nice touch where you can tuck the shoelaces after tying, so they don't bounce around. This is my new favorite shoe.

Light weight but still supportive
These feather weight sneaks are comfortable right out of the box. But don't let their light weight fool you. They provide all the support and performance you expect from Merrell.

Sole wears out quickly
Just as I thought, the sole on these wears out extremely fast. I could see the tread beginning to wear away after a handful of uses. Not sure why the sole was changed from the Antora 2. The soles on those lasted a full year with very little wearing away. Why mess with a good thing, unless the point is for them to wear out quickly so I have to buy shoes more often? Looks like it is time to change brands. So sad. I thought I had found the perfect walking shoe.
