The Marmot KT Component 3-in-1 jacket is an ultra-versatile piece whether you're skiing fresh powder lines or enjoying the variable conditions on your walk around mountain towns. The outer shell is composed of a durable recycled polyester outer and a Gore-Tex membrane to protect you from the wettest conditions, while the zip-in insulated jacket is stuffed with Thermal R synthetic insulation to keep you toasty warm. Either wear them together or as standalone pieces to keep you prepared for any weather. The removable hood zips off in case you don't need the additional bulk and protection when grabbing your morning coffee, and zippered underarm vents dump excess heat when you're working hard skiing powder lines.

Great

Typical Marmot quality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all the service was great. Communication came regularly during the shipping process and it arrived quickly. I'm a size 48 suit and the XXL fits great. The jacket seems high quality. Pockets are a big thing for me and there are plenty of them. It has a wrist pocket for the ski pass. It has a nice big inside breast pocket both inside the shell and inside the liner. The zippers work very smoothly and are water proof. I'm looking forward to getting many years on the slopes

Must Have

Very Warm
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this hoping it would be comfortable, waterproof and very warm. It definitely is! Fantastic ski jacket. It would be too warm for me on days above freezing, so I'll probably unzip and remove the liner for that. It seems that the hood on most jackets including this one are big to accommodate helmets. I don't wear a helmet, and thus hate most hoods, but this one isn't too big for a wool hat, and cinches up nicely. Pockets are well placed for me, and plenty of them. Well done!

Terrific ski jacket

Love it, website needs more images or video!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought it a couple weeks ago and has kept me warm and dry, love the Goretex outer shell and the detachable insulated jacket. It has way more features than described in the website like the recco locator. It is definitely a little heavy but worth it due to the feature set, I have worn it on 30F weather and Ive been fine so far
