That herd of people waiting in the liftline just to ski a few tracked up, overcrowded runs have no idea what they're missing. You're up there packing up your skins and getting ready to hoof it to the top for the good stuff, and you're wearing the Marmot Men's Boot Pack Jacket. Not only does ripping up the steep and deep feel great and earning those turns gratifying, but doing it in dry comfort and stylin' good looks feels pretty damned good as well.
Marmot gave this backcountry beast of a jacket its NanoPro two-layer fabric and fully-taped seams for waterproof and breathable protection from those nasty storms and those spills you may or may not take. And yeah, it can get nasty up there, with fierce winds and driving snow, so its a good thing the Boot Pack has an attached helmet-compatible hood with an extra-high protective collar that protects you from the elements. A powder skirt keeps that fresh snow reserved for face shots, and a wide range of pockets gives you room from everything from your music player, to your PB and J lunch, to your avalanche beacon.
