When the heli drops you off on top of a huge, exposed line that looked a little less steep from base camp, you might get cold feet, but you certainly won't have cold hands in the Big Mountain Glove. Marmot engineers constructed this warm, burly glove with weather protection to the nines. Outside is a highly durable MemBrain shell and a rugged face fabric with PU film laminate to increase water repellency without drastically reducing fabric breathability. Beneath that, the waterproof, windproof, and highly breathable Gore-Tex insert with Active Shell technology blocks precipitation and external moisture while allowing sweaty moisture from the inside to escape.
Inside the glove you'll find a moisture-wicking DriClime lining and cold-crushing Primaloft One insulation, which provides greater heat retention than traditional down filling while remaining bulk-free for dexterity. Speaking of dexterity, Marmot's infamous Falcon grip clasps its no-slip talons around ski poles, ice tools, and other slippery equipment for a secure hold. The glove's safety leash attaches to the cuff of your jacket so you can take off your glove without fear of dropping it in deep snow or off a ski lift.
