I originally purchased this for my wife. She is always cold. The winters here get to -15 degrees she was able to stay warm with this jacket. She did also wear a mid layer with this jacket at times. During the windy and cold days.

I am a ski instructor at Sun Valley Idaho. This is my everyday ski coat unless it's storming. I love that it's wind proof, very lightweight, hood fits over my helmet, down fill is 850- toasty warm, black color goes with all my different color ski pants. It's so comfortable that I feel like I'm wearing my pajamas!
