Consistency is key.
Rather than trying to decide whether you like your baggies with a built-in chamois, removable chamois, or no chamois at all (not recommended), investing in Maloja's DonM. Underpants 1/2 will simplify your pre-ride ritual and give you some consistency out on the trail without weighing you down. A form-fitting bib short design, the DonM. was made to wear layered underneath your favorite pair of baggies. It provides the muscle support and moisture-wicking capabilities of Lycra Mesh while as well as the long-ride comfort of a chamois.
Airy and light, the short was cut to provide a streamlined, next-to-skin fit, so it will move with you on the trails rather than shifting or bunching underneath baggies. Its bib straps are flexible and soft as well, made to usher moisture away from your skin and ensure you get plenty of airflow as you start to sweat.
Within the short, Maloja takes its chamois choice seriously, lining the DonM. with its Legend 2 chamois, whose name somewhat speaks for itself. Developed in conjunction with Maloja's pro team, the multi-layer insert follows your body movements closely in the saddle by using a dual-stretch design and bonded seaming to limit the likelihood of chafing while it supports and works to absorb jarring trail vibrations during a ride. It comes complete with resistance to odors as well as a soft, moisture-wicking face material to sit comfortably next to your skin. As you pedal, silicone grippers on the insides of the hems help keep the legs securely in place to prevent distractions while you ride.

Light and Airy with a great Chamois
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
- Fit: True to size
- Size Bought: L
I just got these. I prefer bibs under my baggies for moutain biking and these are great. The chamois is very comfortable, and I've done up to 50 mile days on it without issue.
I really like the light and airy feel of the mesh body of the bibs. Keeps things cooler than wearing a traditional bib under your shorts.
I was inbetween sizes (M and L). My waist measurement seemed to fit the M but height seemed more towards the L. I went with the L and I'm glad I did. They fit great.
