Love it except the tongue is annoying

I have owned the shoes for several months and have previously worn Salomons and Keens in a similar style. The Lowas are comfortable, have good grip and cushioning, and easily go between a casual office and a hike. They fit well EXCEPT that the tongues slide to the outside almost immediately and become annoying because then the corner of the tongue sits on the top center of the foot. I had read a similar comment in another review that I can no longer find, and unfortunately, the same thing happened to me. This doesn't happen with any of my other shoes. Otherwise, I love the shoes, but I wouldn't buy them again because of the poorly designed tongue.
