- Q & A
Couldn't wait to get my new, awesome, grips... was tracking the package everyday. Finally get home, rip open the box.... The plastic was open and there are 2 grips with NO CLAMPS! This is my first time ordering from this place and I'm not impressed. Very upset. (EDIT) Customer service was very helpful and sent me out new grips and refunded my shipping. 1 star -> 3
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Bought the Blue color with gold rings. Color combo is nice and grip is excellent!
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
Gold lock on's - are you serious right now? Buy these. Buy them right now and don't look back. Besides the looks my hands are locked onto my handlebars. They're amazing to the touch and I highly recommend.
I just built up a new bike for my son and put these grips on it. These grips truly rock. They stay put in all sort of trail conditions. There is defiantly no hand slippage while killing the downhills! They are super sticky with sweaty hands, trail dust and when they are wet. I highly recommend them.
Love the Lizard
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
i have wrecked more than i would care to admit, and these grips have been bashed up pretty good. despite the scrapes, they stay in place just as well as day one, still grip as well, and still look rad. if you're doing long xc rides, get some gloves with more padding to fend off fatigue. but for shredding the mountain, these ghave a great feel and i would highly recommend them.
Grab the Lizard!
These grips are super grippy with a nice thin profile to keep you connected to the bike. For the amount of grip, these last well over time. I am a fan!
What's not to love about these grips? They are fairly thin and super grippy. Great DH and trail grip. Buy a pair and maybe you can ride like Peaty.
Love these grips!
At first, I was sceptical of going with lock on grips from my hands rubbing on the metal ends, but I ended up falling in love with these grips. They are firm, but still have a bit of cushion to them to give you unbeatable control. They might not be very comfortable without gloves, but with gloves they give me enough comfort for anything the trail can throw out. They also last quite awhile.
You Must Know What You're Doing
Firm, blingy grips that make you look like you actually know what you're doing.
Easy to install and easy to operate (just grab and go... or something).
Got these to swap out the terrible stock grips on my new 29er. The grips look great on the bike. Material seems durable and good quality. Good grip but these are FIRM and on long rides my hands do get tired. (Maybe I need new gloves too, to go with the grips...)
Perfect for me
Like your grips super thin and super grippy? Then these are perfect for you too. Got some for the DH bike, but definitely plan on getting another pair for the XC. Clean and simple looking too which is a plus.
Love the feel of the peat''s also love the blue color!
World Cup Material
It makes complete sense why Steve Peat uses these. Crazy dexterity. If you're a fan of firm grips as i am then these're awesome. Your hands do get fatigued after a long ride as there isn't much cushion. Look awesome. Feel awesome. Never had a problem with a lizard skin product!
Firm grips and not oversized. They look awesome.
Is the peaty grip sold as a pair or just one for $29.99?
Grips come in a set of 2.
