Best gravity purifier in its class
I ordered this product after extensive research online. This gravity purifier is the best one on the market in its class. The website was very informative and easy to use. Delivery was quick and the purifier was packaged well. I purchased it for emergency use and not for routine camping use, so I have not had a chance to use it yet. But, I did examine it when I received it and the materials and build quality are great!

Great Water Purifier

So slow.
I was stoked to get this filter for traveling in South America. However I was blown away with how slow it was to get a liter. Maybe I was doing something wrong but it seems straight forward and the directions are easy. That said I can’t say I would recommend it to anyone. It also is quite bulky and difficult to drain all the water entirely out of when packing up camp. The filter technology is great I’m sure, but you might die of dehydration water for water, Especially if you have to use it in a spot where the hang isn’t fully perfect. I would recommend a pump system.

Amazing for outdoor adventures

I knew that we would want to refill water after a few hours of hiking. Rather than carrying extra bottles, I was able to use this water purifier to get water from the river and refill bottles as needed.

Very Useful!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This water filtration system works by gravity. I did not have to do any pumping or need to use batteries. I love that it is so low effort. Not only does it remove viruses, bacteria, and parasites. It makes the water taste better. This is great for camping and whatever outdoor adventures that you want to pursue. This water purification system will be vital for emergency preparedness and survival situations. I sleep better at night knowing that I have it for whatever comes my way.

Compact
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently had taken a hiking trip, and we weren't able to take pre-bottled water. Let me tell you that might have been the hardest part knowing I couldn't take them. But after trying this at home and feeling confident that I could survive with only using the LifeStraw Gravity Water Pack. Well here I am 3 weeks after the trip and I am still alive. The water tasted just as good as bottle water. Maybe even better. So if you are going on any kind of camping, or hiking adventure and need fresh water than this is what you need.

LifeStraw Water Purifier
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A little complicated at first for a novice, but then easy to use. The directions were a bit confusing until I realized that some of the pieces were already attached rather than missing. Customer service was quick to respond and very polite. Filling up the bag is not difficult. However, it is quite heavy once filled. You can hang the bag from the strap or the carabiner. The length of tubing used to go from the bag to the filter seems exceptionally long and makes closing the bag a bit cumbersome as well as using the bag since the the tubing has to hang completely straight in order for water to come out. If you are outdoors using this product (as most people would be) you must have a high place in which to hang the bag to make using it easy; otherwise you'll be on the ground trying to get water out. Additionally, the water comes out of the filter at a very slow pace! I'm sure this is to filter out impurities, but don't expect a gush of water if you are dehydrated. You need to plan ahead when needing water. Lastly, while the filter does an insanely good job of filtering, the tiny sip of water I tried tasted HORRIBLE. I'm not sure if this was because a few liters of water need to be run through the filter and then the water will taste fine (like you do with fridge filters) or if that's the way the water always tastes after being filtered. More testing needed. I While the water bottle attachment seemed handy, I did not test its ease of use. The directions do give a tip about making it easier to use which is appreciated. The bag is super heavy duty as are all of the pieces included so it will be able to take some rough use. Overall, I recommend this product for outdoor enthusiasts, but not for outdoor novices.

Perfect for camping

This water purifier system protects against bacteria, parasites, silt, sand and more. I found this easy to hang up and filter water thru it to my drinking cup. It is made from quality materials and will last.
