Wide style not really wide

Tried them on... not really wide as it says. I typically wear a 12W.. the LA Sportiva conversion guide was good.. (12US= 45.5EU) it's just really in the toe box. Hoping a Shor stretcher will do the trick. It's hard enough to find anything wide in gortex.
