Why We Like The La Sportiva Machina Pant

We pull on the La Sportiva Machina Pant when we're spending a day in the vertical world, battling for a send pitch after pitch. The articulated knees, gusseted crotch, and high-stretch upper back insert let us stem and drop-knee freely, while the abrasion-resistant front panels hold strong against sharp limestone. With the waist and hem cinched tight, we get a fit that stays put and out of our way as we toe down on tiny chips.

Perfect outdoor adventure pants

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer
Size Bought:
Lg/ 52

Bought to replace very old NF and Patagonia stretch climbing/adventure pants. These pants are lightweight. with a small amount of stretch Ventilation in crotch.Like the inner string belt, comfortable under pack belt or harness.1 zip pocket is nice. I’m 6 ‘ ,185 lbs and lg/52 fits perfectly. Used on recent trip to the Tetons and am completely satisfied. Material breaks wind and dries quickly. Only possible question is waist button sewing durability, no problem but I will keep an eye on it. A winner.

Best warm weather climbing pants?

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

6’0 150lbs purchased size medium, perfect fit. Bought my first pair ~4 weeks ago. Climbed now on sharp granite and limestone mainly crack climbing and offwidth. I wasn’t able able to get them to tear after being hard on them so I decided to buy 2 more pair today. They have held up better then my patagonia rock pants but I can’t speak to the longevity of them yet. I will update next season.
