Like all sea-kayaing PFDs, the Kokatat Poseidon UL PFD will help you stay afloat if you end up in the drink. Unike most PFDs, it has a modular outfitting system that is compatible with all sorts of Kokatat accessories like extra pockets, radio sleeves, and hydration packs. Even if you forgo the extras, the Posiedon's built-in rear hydration sleeve will keep you drinking while the buckle front entry, webbing adjustments, and contoured neoprene shoulder straps will help you stay comfortable and paddling freely through bays, inlets, and open water. The Poseidon does come with one large front pocket, too, so you can keep essential gear close by while you explore the great blue yonder.

Excellent PFD
- Familiarity:

- Size Bought:
- M/L

I read the reviews on this and decided this has to be THE BEST PFD on the market. So, I was a little surprised that it was no longer being made. Fortunately, Backcountry has them in stock. I like that I can keep lots of things in it when I go paddling, or just out on the water. Especially since my pockets are covered by a PFD. It does fit true to the sizing chart. So, an M/L works for me with a 43" chest. It will fit up to a 49" chest measurement (include what you will wear underneath it).
