Almost a La-Z-Boy

  • Familiarity:I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Last year I had the opportunity to sit in this chair, that I did not own. Loved it. Maybe it was the outdoor landscape, the cool breeze and my mate by my side, but it was amazing.

So amazing that here it is a year later and I just purchased my very own.

Naturally I go have my first sit in my new lovely chair. I love the height of the seat because when you stretch your legs out in front of you it almost feels like they are up on an ottoman. This was the top reason I bought this chair.

The reason I gave this chair 4 stars instead of 5 is because the chair back is just a touch too low. When I put my head back on the "head rest" area - PLOP - it falls back (good thing it's attached, otherwise...) and so I am forced to scoot down in my seat so that I have something to rest my head on. In watching my mate have his first seat (and without telling him of my small struggle), his head plopped back as well and he had to scoot down also.

I am keeping the chair and will deal with the small imperfection. This review is based on a first and second impression and I look forward to our life together.

Go To At All Times

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

I've had the single lowrider chairs for years and iterations. I upgraded to the double for those special trips with the ladyfriend. It's amazing.

I take it on every trip now, always, whether I'm with a partner or not. Even solo, I take this chair. It's a bit bulkier but not quite as bulky as two single chairs would be. If you have some extra space, even for yourself only, take this chair.

It's low to the ground, closer to the fire and less overall bulk because of being shorter. Can openers are attached. The cup holder has a divider in the middle so you can have it large to fit a nalgene or GSI Fairshare, or you can split it to hold two cans/bottles easily.

The double lets you lay out on it sideways. Have more space to spread your junk and not lose it. It's amazing I love it I will have one always.

Snuggle Chair

I initially bought this as a wedding present for an outdoorsy couple, who we went camping with soon after the wedding. A little embarrassed to mostly say I love this chair because I can snuggle with my dog without having her crush me or get in the way. But it's super nice to cuddle up to your honey too :)

    Wedding gifts

    • Familiarity:I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

I bought these as wedding gifts for a couple who loves camping. They loved them! Comfy, better quality then the stuff you can get at the box stores, and you can lounge in style.

    Great chair for everything

    • Familiarity:I've used it several times

This chair is great for anything. Whether it be chilling by the fire, hanging at a summer concert, or just kicking a few back on the porch, this the chair to do it in. It is insanely comfortable for a folding chair and the bottle openers in the cup holder give convenience a new meaning. Perfect purchase if you are looking for a good chair to kick back in.

My wife & I love this small outdoor sofa

    • Familiarity:I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I found this chair while shopping to replace some old, threadbare folding concert-style chairs. The reviews were very positive for this chair so I was optimistic my wife would like it. Turns out we love it. I think it is more appropriate to describe this as a "small outdoor sofa".

The height/recline is very comfortable and ideal for many activities (such as outdoor concerts). Also, the construction is very sturdy and the chair comes with a nice carrying case with shoulder strap.

This chair makes your friends want one!

    • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

From the bottle opener to the comfort of the deep seat. I'm not sure what we were doing before this chair!? Debuting on a 14,000 mile road trip with a new girlfriend, this is the first thing that goes in the van- whether it's Sunday volleyball in Alta, a private Westwater trip, lazy mornings in the garage, or winter camping... this is the one you want with you. Once your friends sit in it they get the idea! Best camp chair we have! PS. you can lay in it!!!!!!

    Great chair for couples

    • Gender:Male
    • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

My wife and I really like this chair, even the fact that it is low to the ground and I am 6'3 and she is 6'- great for lounging when we go camping and works great for concerts. We use it to sit in the culdesac watching our kids play as well. It would probably even be comfortable if both people were overweight, but as both of us are skinny it gives us plenty of room. It is well built, good color, carrying case is great, and it folds very easily. Makes it fun to sit with my wife rather than just next to her when we are out.

A Must when camping with my wife

Ever since I saw this, seeing I already owned the signal person version, I knew it would be great. Have had it for 2 years now and still loving it. I am not a small guy and it still holds up well.
