4th pair
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my 4th pair of the voyageur shoe. It is the only shoe I can walk in that is comfortable after having gone thru chemo. Walking in this show is like walking on clouds! Buying another pair to keep on hand .

Declining quality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Each pair of these that I get seems a little worse than the previous. I'm probably on my 8th pair of Voyageurs since ~2016. The current purchase is taking a long time to get comfortable, particularly the right shoe. Most pairs I will wear through the interior lining of the heel within a few weeks (even with adjusting to thinner, smoother socks), and have the tread down to practically bald within 6 months. I try to time my purchase so that I have the most tread going into winter - traction is less critical [for me] during the summer. I keep getting new ones because they meet my needs - wider toe box, sturdy footbed/shank, and my orthotics fit well under the insole - a combination that is difficult to find to suit my bad back and high arches.

New footbed a fail
Purchased a pair in March of 2023. Keen said the new design of the footbed is not a defect. They have removed the yellow cushion in the footbed that holds (sticks to) the removable insole. As a result the fit is off and very uncomfortable, even with $$ Keen insoles. I will never buy Keens again after 10+ years of purchases.

The only show that helps my plantar fasciitis
Thank goodness for Keen Voyageur. I've worn the boot for a few months with success and just received the low shoe to wear to work. I wear them with everything because it's the only shoe I own that provides enough support for my feet. As soon as I put these shoes on, my feet and my entire body feel the difference. I do have to add my own OTC orthotic though, but that is very normal for me. I've also had to switch out the laces because the paracord kept loosening since this low show does not have the metal eyelet/hook at the top like the mid boot does. The new laces keep my shoes tighter for better support. Overall, I am very happy with these shoes and hope Keen doesn't alter the shoe in the future.
