Why We Like The KEEN Targhee IV Mid WP Hiking Boot
We like our hiking boots to be comfortable, which is why we like the KEEN Targhee IV Mid WP hiking boot. This boot has Luftcell foam embedded in the midsole for extra cushioning while the KEEN fit gives our toes a little more wiggle room. We also like the look and feel of the Targhee's soft yet protective leather uppers, which have been sourced from tanneries certified by the Leather Working Group. New for 2024, the 4th iteration of the Targhee is more durable than its popular predecessors with a new glue-free KEEN.FUSION bond that won't delaminate and also features a few cosmetic tweaks that distinguish it from the older Targhees.

This is my second pair
This is my second pair of Keene waterproof hiking boots. I love them. They have nice tread and they truly are waterproof. They are super comfy with all the cushioning in the sole. I would suggest going 1/2 size smaller because they run a little big. I’m wearing thick socks and that is doing the trick.

I’ve hiked 1000’s of miles in Keen boots since 2019

The hiking boots need more
The hiking boots need more padding in the ball of the foot section After hiking around 4miles that part of my foot is really painful

Always the best choice
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife and I went to Munich in 2018 and found the Keen store and never looked back. Keen has consistently made a superior product from sandals, tennis shoes and now our latest purchase these hiking boots. These boots fit great, give more than adequate support, water resistant, and look stylish. Thank you Keen team, don't change a thing.

Too Roomy
I have normal width, low volume feet and these boots were absolutely HUGE on me. The entire boot and toe box felt like a wide. I was not able to purchase this brand, I had to buy another brand that did not have as large as a toe box. Was very disappointed. I really liked the style, features, and price of this boot. Seem to be made specifically for people with larger volume/width feet.

SO disappointed to see the NEW boots with a teeny pointy toe box. Your wide toe box is what has kept me coming back. I haven't bought these, and won't, because I've had other brands with that toe pinch me when I'm coming down off a mountain. Nope, nope, nope.

Sturdy and Comfy!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great quality boot. It’s exactly what I need to walk in the woods and feel protected and steady on my feet. Especially when walking my dog who loves to explore. Walking and hiking in the woods can be pretty messy and muddy but these boots handle it well being resistant to mess and moisture. I really love the treading on the bottoms and my toes really do feel comfortable and well-placed in the boots. Not squished or tight. Which was always a deterrent in the past to me wearing hiking boots. My ankles tend to be sensitive to rubbing but the boot height was placed well and cushioned where I didn’t have any issues. Felt secured and snug. Great quality boot. Definitely inspires me to keep moving - in nature!

Great for walking
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that these have a touch of pink on the shoes it add a touch of feminine. My feet didn’t hurt all day while walking outdoors with my family. The shoes are very durable and made well.

Comfortable and durable hiking boot!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the Women’s Targhee IV Hiking books from Keen! They are super comfortable with a wide foot box and a high ankle for support. The lugs are durable and have great traction without being heavy. The cuffs are comfy and padded too. Bonus, it rained on my hike and my feet stayed dry. I love the pop of pink too.
