Why We Like The KEEN NXIS Evo Mid Waterproof Hiking Boot
The NXIS Evo Mid Waterproof Hiking Boot is the first fast-and-light hiker hybrid with KEEN's original comfort fit. It features a light and agile build for fast and easy hikes near home, plus KEEN's iconic toe boxes, which protect our toes while giving them some wiggle room. The NXIS also features a waterproof membrane for sloppy conditions and versatile traction with horseshoe-shaped lugs designed to grip muddy downhills, rocky uphills, and slippery sidewalks. With less weight than a true hiking boot and more protection than a trail running shoe, it's a lightweight solution for fast-packers, day hikers, and urban hikers alike.

Not waterproof.
I wore my Keens NXIS EVO for the first light rain weather day. I was disappointed that both feet were wet in the heal after a 2 hour walk. I was walking on a paved road.

I don’t know
I purchased my first pair about a year ago and they are the most comfortable boot i have ever worn. They started to get pretty ragged so I bought another pair and the new ones killed my feet, so i had to go back wearing my older ones. I don’t understand it because my first pair was comfortable one day one.

Perfect patrol boot for police
This is my work boot and it is by far the most comfortable and durable boot I’ve owned! Light enough for foot chases and comfortable when standing for long periods.

Good looking. Feel ok on
Good looking. Feel ok on carpet, pavement and grass. For hiking on gravel, small stones and uneven surface, the footbed and cushioning are dismal. Hot spots from toe to heel and poor ankle support. Can you please suggest something more comfortable?

Super Comfy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have you ever tried on a pair of shoes and said, this is perfect. Well, this is the shoe/boot. They fit so good and require no break-in. I’m on my second pair. Do yourself a favor, get these boots.

Great hiking boot!
What a comfortable hiking boot. When it comes to footwear, I wear an 11.5 or 12 depending on the shoe. In Keens, 11.5 always fits me perfectly. So you may want to size down a half a size if you’re between sizes yourself. Can’t speak to the longevity of these boots yet, but for comfort and the sole these are a solid choice for your next adventure.

Greatest Keen I've known. . .
These have been the best Keen's I've ever owned. Size 13, straight outta the box, fit like a glove. Managed to get the rare Black/Evening primrose pair. To me, the perfect colors of black, navy and a lil that Keen neon green/yellow. If your a NFL fan, straight Seahawk colors. What was just to be my weekend off/day shoes turned into my everyday work shoe as well. Super light weight and durable plus waterproof. I've been wearing this same pair for close to over 2 years. Going on my 2nd pair now after wearing the sole's completely down to the point i can see numbers and letters on the bottom of the shoe it's so smooth but they've been so great i don't want to give them up. Only downside I've ever had with these boots is a small tendency for the top metal hooks getting hooked up when you cross your feet a bit.

Great boot one issue
I'm doing march the month for prostate cancer, done around 85 miles in the last week, the fit of the boot is really nice, just one problem, in the ankle support there is a different peace of foam, I understand the logic, to protect the ankle bone, in truth mine is more of a hindrance, I've had to take a knife to them today to cut it out as it was creating a fair bit of pain from digging into the bottom of my ankle bone, other than that spot on. Keen, the manufacturing cost of cutting and gluing that triangle ISH bit would be better spent on upgrading the ankle foam, or just save cost and remove it, would recommend for a casual walker

SMH
Shameless huge advertising Keen logo, customers arent free foot billboard advertising. White soles are bound to look dingy, and are off color in context to the upper. Sadly Keen still has a very limited supply of non leather/vegetarian/vegan boots. Way too expensive too.
