I recently wore my pair of keens on a mountaineering trip to Kings Peak, UT. THE highest peak in UT. I thought about bringing a second pair of shoes, but thought the less to pack the better. I hiked to the top of Kings peak (no socks) and back with not one sore toe, not one blister and feet that felt better than my husbands (who was wearing VERY expensive hikers). Amazing, a 30 mile hike, one pair of shoes and left feeling great. Highly recommended!!
Great Buy!

I am a true size 8 but I usually have to go up a half size in Keen because they run a little bit smaller than usual except for in the Newport H2's I wear a size 8 and they fit perfectly. These shoes are way comfortable and you could walk in them for hours. They were great for our Hawaii trip, great for our fishing trip, and just an all around great shoe for every day wear. I would definitely recommend these shoes!
Awesome shoes!

I bought these shoes when I kayak, but because they are so comfy, I wear them everywhere. As an added bonus, I'm constantly getting compliments on them. I'm getting ready to purchase another pair. I would highly recommend them. They are true to shoe size.

Love them. Climbed the acropolis and walked all over Greece and Croatia in them. After reading reviews, tried on 1/2 size larger, but ended up purchasing in my normal size since they are wide. I did get a blister from wearing the first time but after that, they were totally comfortable, although a little slippery.

I have an older pair of these and they are still holding up great and they have been all over the place! I just bought these for my Mom because she had been dieing for a pair, and she absolutely loves them! Now a few of her friends have ordered them too. If you are in the market for a good, solid, comfy summer shoe that has great support and can also get wet, I would highly recommend this shoe. They are a Keen Classic and have been around forever for a reason. Another great feature is that they dry super fast!

I have several colors and LOVE these shoes. I throw them in the washer if they get really dirty when I wear them camping in AZ. I gave a pair, as a gift to my mom's caregiver and now she has purchased 2 other pairs in different colors. She is on her feet all day and can't get over how comfortable they are!
LOVE 'EM !

I wanted a multipurpose sneaker type sandal. I coundn't have found a better product. This is a VERY stable shoe. I don't worry as much about losing my balance and falling. I have flat feet. These have great support, and look great on my feet. Although it took my feet about a week to get used to them, they were comfortable right out of the box. Also love being able to throw them into the washing machine when needed. I wear an 8.5 wide or 9 med.
Since it's recommended that you get 1/2 size up from your regular size, I just went with the size 9 instead of 9.5. They were perfect.

I wore these last week on my vacation, I used them for everything...hiking, canoeing, even walking around town. I recommend these sandals because they are multi-functional and durable.

I have high arches and also have heal pain at times. Which model would be better for me? The Newport H2 or Venice H2?

I have high arches and the Newport H2 works best for me. I have hiked in them. My foot moved around in the Venice H2 too much. The extra strap on the Newport held my foot in place.

My first pair of Newport H2s lasted 4 summers of constant, constant wear. From the cobblestones of Europe, where we live, to the mountains of the Northwest, to beaches, deserts, etc. For me they are the best shoe ever. I wear these or the Waimea style of Keens every day of every summer and never a blister (although I am prone to them in other shoes). I think my last pair was a 8.5, although I am an 8. I was following the advice of others to order a 1/2 size up. They did get a little sloppy feeling by the end of last summer (the 4th), and the toe-protection finally separated from the webbing on one of them, which is why I replaced them with a new pair. Best best money spent on a shoe. This time I ordered an 8 and it's very comfortable. So, for me, it's true to size, but I do have a narrow foot.

My husband needs 1/2 size larger H2 sandal. The online option of clicking next to the item I want to return and then printing out a return label is the EASIEST return experience I've EVER had! Good job BackCountry thank you!

My last pair of "hiking sandals" bit the dust after many years. I found these online and liked the idea of their being water proof hking sandals. They are comfortable, do not need to be broken in, and easy to throw on when I need to walk outside with a dog quickly. Walked in the woods the other day and they did get a bit of dirt in them after about 45 minutes but I just took them off shook them out and was good to go again. I would buy these again and highly recommend them. My husband got a pair for his birthday. He wears a size 10 and needs 1/2 size bigger. I also purchased 1/2 size larger per others reviews. Normally wear a sz 7 and the 7.5 are perfect!

My mom loves these. She has always had trouble with her feet and for the first time, she can walk in these sandals and not be limping the next day. She's taking them to Turkey with her this May and for the first time, I know she'll be fine walking around all day. I would recommend these to anyone and everyone looking for a comfortable sandal to spend all day walking in.

Hey, I'm going to Costa Rica for 17 days! Looking for a pair of sandals/shoes like these Keen Newport H2 Sandal. How true to size do they fit? I normally wear an 8 but considering purchasing 7.5 if they might stretch a bit when wet??

Hello Keiko,
KEEN sandals run small, I would recommend a 8.5, they will not stretch when they get wet.

Go try some on in a store. I'm a 71/2 to 8 M shoe. I did get the 8 b/c I didn't want my toe hitting the rubber top constantly. They are a bit big and definitely wide, but not too much to get the smaller size. I wish keen would make a true B width-the whisper is way too narrow (more like a size A width), and the venice & newport are about 1/2 in. too wide.
