Great sweater, but...

Size Bought:
40
Height:
5' 6"
Weight:
135

I purchased the Size 40 because I'm typically a Men's Size Medium, although at 5'6" and 135 lbs with wide shoulders some sleeves of a Size Medium occasionally run 1-2" long. this sweater is very well made with heavy-weight wool yarn. Quality-wise, it's top-notch; however be wary that it does run small--at least fir me. The Size 40 feels like a standard size Men's Small. Snug around the chest, and fir me the sleeves just barely covering my wrist bone. I will keep and wear this sweater, but won't be able to wear anything underneath it except a t-shirt or thin silk or spandex top. A shirt would be out if the question. I'd return it for a Size 42 if they had one in stock, but, alas, they don't; so I will live with and enjoy the Size 40.
