The worse the weather gets the better these are. Purchased for a winter trip to Switzerland and Belgium. Unchallenged by wind and rain, shrugged off like they weren’t there. Certainly run on the toasty end of the scale, paired with thin Smartwool socks your feet will be little infernos. Tread compound is good and grippy, never slipping on drenched cobbles, old stone steps or rail tracks. We missed all the proper cold snow and slush but i have a feeling. these would be right at home Partial-star knocked off for size and weight. Tried 11, 11.5, and 12 and struggled to get a comfy fit, think these run a bit narrow… they’re not as lightweight as expected for non-leather sneaker-style winter shoe. Definitely feel the heft after eight hours of touring around.
