Built for him to leave his mark.

They say that children are the future, and judging by how huge kids are going these days, it'd be safe to say they're right. The K2 Boys' Vandal Snowboard Binding is built for the little groms who are going to be changing snowboarding one day. It features a Tweekback Groms highback made from 100% urethane to give it the perfect blend of tweakability and support so he can tear up everything from boxes and blue squares to big jumps and black diamonds. The lightweight Pro-Fusion PC baseplate is durable and has a forgiving flex for easy turning. Hella RADchets slide smoothly so he can easily get in and out of his bindings, even with his mittens on.

Good for my son. Lots of growing room.

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I got these for my 12 year old son for his third season riding. He's in a size 6 Thirtytwo boot with Boa laces. These bindings were almost too big. Although there is quite a bit of adjustment, I at first thought I would have to cut the to straps a little shorter, which they are designed to do. However, I found that if I place the to strap around the end of the toe as opposed to over the bridge they worked without any cutting. There was plenty of adjustment on the upper strap, and there were no issues there.

I'm excited that he'll be able to strap his own bindings this season. I'm guessing these will last for at least three seasons with all of the growing room.
