The K2 Women's Remedy 112 Ski is the widest ski in K2's women's line, so it can handle powder, but it won't shy away from mixed snow or the occasional groomer, either. Built from the ground up for ladies who like to rip, the Remedy's not just a guy's ski that's been renamed and given different graphics; it can charge, but it's designed for lighter riders, so you can push the speed limit without feeling like you've strapped onto a bucking bronco with a mind of its own. Triaxial braided fiberglass wraps around the Bioflex aspen, paulownia, and bamboo core to give you serious torsional strength and stability without sacrificing any of the liveliness and pop that you'd expect to find in a wood-core ski.
The core's also built to be nice and light, so you can get a little jibby if you want and shimmy your way through tight trees without expending all your energy to get through a turn. The generous 112mm waist and All-Terrain Rocker lets you float effortlessly through powder, though the traditional sidecut and underfoot camber allow this ski to perform better in variable conditions than you might expect. In case you find yourself riding these beasts in low snow conditions, the TwinTech sidewall helps to keep you from experiencing any nasty blowouts and sending you to the shop for costly repairs or worse.
