Great fit but poor durability

These bibs fit great and the stretch material is super comfortable for long days but unfortunately the material durability is just not there. The abrasion resistant rip stop fabric on the knees and seat is quite thin and doesn’t hold up. If you do purchase these bibs maybe consider buying a roll of tenacious tape because you’ll need it. I got back from a day of touring a noticed a tear in the fabric that was perfectly vertical (no jagged edges or rip marks) and don’t know how it would’ve happened. This is clearly a defect in the rip stop material and should be covered under Jones warranty. I’ve warrantied other things through Jones and they’ve been great to work with however the warranty process through Backcountry has been a struggle and they won’t submit a claim to Jones. I’ve reached out directly to Jones so we’ll see where this goes.
