Carbon Flagship Snowboard

The Flagship has earned its rep as the most capable freeride board around, so you can imagine that we were skeptical when we heard rumors about something even better. Out skepticism was unfounded, however, and it was clear the moment we laid eyes on the Jones Carbon Flagship snowboard. It takes everything that's made the Flagship the go-to board of charging freeriders the world over, and cranks up the stiffness, lightness, and response with an all-new carbon fiber construction. The result is a piece of big-mountain equipment tailored specifically to the needs of riders at the bleeding edge of the sport. If you think it might be too much board for you, it probably is, but if you are dead-set on pushing your limits all the way, there is no finer ride on the planet.

The carbon fiber topsheet and carbon stringers shed a significant amount of weight as compared to the regular Flagship. In addition, they make for a stiffer, damper, more responsive ride. Think of it as a track-prepped touring car―the faster and more aggressively you ride it, the more it will come to life. Camber between the feet keeps the Carbon Flagship planted at mach speed, and there's slightly more rocker in the nose than the tail, for unreal float, without sacrificing the ability to ride switch. Mellow Magne-Traction places bumps along the edge, for insane edgehold, especially when you're crossing an icy traverse on the way to the run of your life. The blunted nose keeps swing weight down for quicker turns. The sintered base holds a bunch of wax, and runs crazy fast. And the beautiful wood topsheet is as environmentally friendly as it is durable.
