Large and in charge.

You love the convenience and efficiency of your old Jetboil system, but you're tired of having to make multiple batches of everything to feed big groups of people. Luckily, Jetboil heard your concerns and created the Sumo Stove in response. Essentially just a bigger version of the proven Jetboil Flash system, it offers increased capacity to accommodate families and big teams.

JetBoil's FluxRing heat exchange system is built directly into the bottom of the insulated cup, maximizing fuel efficiency and promoting even heating by distributing the flame along the bottom of the cup. The cup itself is insulated to keep your beverage or meal from going cold and it's made of anodized aluminum for easy cleaning once you're finished cooking. As you'd expect, the insulated cozy also prevents you from scalding your hands when you're prepping and serving meals. It's also equipped with a drink-through lid that doubles as a spout and strainer, as well as a bottom cover that doubles as a measuring cup and serving bowl. The adjustable burner features a one-button piezo ignition for hassle-free lighting, and regulator technology lets you easily dial in the perfect simmer level. Best of all, the entire kit, including your fuel canister, all stack neatly together for total convenience.

Works as advertised

This is one of a few jetboils I own. They all work exactly as advertised and pack down well. Never disappointed by a jetboil purchase.

Great for involuntary camping trips

Hot shave in a hasty bivouac? Did your battle buddy pack some ramen or coffee instead of his skivies? Did doc fail the water quality test on the water buffalo? Have I got the solution for you! JetBoil that sh!t! The sumo can hold the burner, stand and a fuel canister inside itself so low space taken up in the ruck. Maybe don’t use it inside your tent though. Turn that Fex into a party, bring a Jetboil.

Heats surprisingly quickly. I’ve used the Sumo container for coffee, oatmeal, soup over and over. The included burner platform has worked well with small to medium pans for all kinds of meals. Seems to be really protected from wind. Great product.

Group Water Boiler Machine!

Let me start by saying I have been using Jetboil Products since before they hit the retail floor- I had a shop demo PCS in my store before they shipped their first retail units. Since then, I have owned the PCS, 1.5L pot, a Flash, 2 Genesises, a Luna side Burner, a Sumo, and a Minimo. I have also used or owned everything from a Svea 123 to an XGK to catfood stoves. Been there, done that. If what you want is to boil water for 3-4 people quickly and efficiently in a 3 season setting- look no further. I also use it on car camping trips with the french press attachment as the group coffee maker either with a Luna Side Burner on my Genesis or on it's own.

Does everything I need it to and nothing I don’t.

Cooks enough for 4 people, but I like making a large soup I can sip on for a long time

Love our Sumo

We Wild camp, boiling water for coffee took forever. Now, our cowboy coffee is brewed in about 4mins.

Sumo cooking system

Large capacity Sumo is great for two people. Able to make multiple dishes, and whip coffee up in a flash. Boils water incredibly efficiently compared to stoves Iv owned in past years. Highly recommended,
