Why We Like The Jetboil MiniMo Stove

One of our favorite backpacking stoves is now available in a smaller size for easier packing and more efficient cooking. Delivers just as promised

Ease of use and so far it has been full proof! It boils water quickly and stows away without taking up much room.

Just got back from my first hunting trip with this and used it primarily to boil water. I never timed it, but it's fast.Especially when all you're doing is cooking and waiting. It packs good and it's quick and easy to set up. Perfect for my first stove.

Perfect 1 person pack stove

Wider pot allows you to cook and eat right out of it…. Less to pack (and wash)!

MiniMo Cooking System

This is an amazing, light-weight cooking system. We’ve used it in the Grand canyon, BWCA, and on other multi-day trips. It’s compact, heats up quickly and is super easy to use. Highly recommend.

I have taken this Jetboil on a few hikes and have used it both for cooking and simply making coffee. Product works very well. My only dislike about the product is that the top lid doesn't like to stay on when packed with a fuel canister and the baggie that comes with the stove. I'm not sure if not using the bag will cause the canister and stove to begin wearing the coating on the pot. I may try it out in the future and find out.

Works will with minor gripes that don't hinder use

Easy to set up and use. However, with high winds the flame did go out a few time. Temperature control is nice to have. Packs away well enough, with a minor looseness of top when you have a fuel canister with it. At full tilt it bowls extremely quickly, so don’t walk away to pack things away. It’s nice to be able to make coffee or a bowl of oatmeal right in the pot. Haven’t had much need for the adjustable temp control, but it could come in handy for some.

A Watched Pot (Boils Fast)

Bought the Jetboil MiniMo over the Flash for the regulator and style of pot. Have to say, I don’t think I’ve ever boiled water this quick. Purpose for our purchase was to make rehydrate meals and make coffee. I might knock a star off if I intended to use the pot holder and separate pots as it doesn’t fit in the system with a gas canister but I will not use this feature. Perfect size to toss in a bag for overnights or lunch when out climbing with the crew.

MiniMO on a motorcycle camping trip.

Used this during a 4 day motorcycle camping trip. It is a compact unit with easy set up. I was only heating water but would not fear cooking meals with this due to the variable flame control. The igniter worked flawlessly. If there is a problem just adjust the electrode as needed with a pair of needle nose pliers.

Love it

I've had it's predecessor for 12 years, excited to have the upgrade. Used on one trip and its been great.
