F-Lite 262 Trail Running Shoe - Men's

Maybe you're tired of touching toes or your training is shifting towards heavier weights in an effort to add some bulk to your chicken-leg-like thighs. Whatever your motivation, keep your dogs from barking and your back from aching in the Inov8 Men's F-Lite Trail Running Shoe. With the same foot-friendly features as the F-Lite 240, this particular shoe is the entry point to Inov8's natural last. Wider than the Precision fit, but not quite as roomy as the Endurance last, the Natural last is based on foot shape for an organic-feeling fit. The toe box provides your tootsies with plenty of wiggle room, whether you're cranking out rep after rep of overhead presses or you're a known toe-walker.

The upper is a blend of mesh and TPU laminate reinforcements. Mesh lets hot air out and cool air in to keep your feet comfortable throughout the workout. Rope-Tec reinforcements safeguard against rope burn when your climbing up or shimmying down 15' sections of coarse rope. The 3mm footbed leaves ample room for your foot and a thick, protective sock when you head out for a trail run. An injected-EVA midsole cushions your footfall and helps prolong the life of your shoe.

The 6mm heel-toe drop strikes a pleasing balance between pure minimalism and high-heel running shoes. You get some rear-foot cushioning but not enough to support a heavy heel-strike over a prolonged period. Inov8's Fascia Band help propel you forward, and the F-Lite Natural outsole is coated with Sticky compound. It's not like your shoes are coated with abc-gum, but your soles seize the ground like you attack urban challenges.
