First Degree (Icelantic's boot division) only debuted their Stormtrooper ST 1 Ski Boot last year, but it's been gathering steam ever since. This medium-flex (110), three-piece boot is easily switched from walk to ski mode and allows you to choose between five different forward lean angles so you always have the right setting for the terrain—crush pow, send backcountry booters, or attack some spring corn. There's an included Booster Strap to give you some extra oomph when you need it, and a new Vibram sole for sticky-footed confidence when you run into slick rocks on your way to the goods.
With the comfort of the fully moldable World Cup Zero liner, you can search and destroy premium lines 'til the cows come home—its three layers of padding won't pack out, and the high-rebound design gives a super-energetic feel that'll have you loading up your turns like a maniac. There's even a biomechanically correct insole, so your feet will feel more like they're dangling in a hot tub than packing away the vert and powering through refrozen chunder.
