So warm, but not too bulky… love my jacket!
I bought this jacket to wear when Clay Target shooting, because it is so warm but not too bulky to shoot in. I am very happy as it ticks all the boxes for size, length, and warmth!

Fit is small for Icebreaker
This is a well made jacket. It’s lighter weight. However the fit was really snug compared to other products from Icebreaker so it felt tight across the shoulders. I would recommend upsizing if you are ordering one. It is all black with stretch material along the sides. So its not easy to see the small details that make it stand out.

A really nice layering piece
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I love it! Surprisingly warm for the weight/thickness of it. I wear it under my shell jacket for alpine skiing, and with a raincoat for my cycle commute for nasty weather days. Good true to size fit - I'm 5'10", 150lbs and the M is perfect. Sleeves are long enough, which is a huge win for someone with long arms like me!

Good jacket but the fit isn't quite women-specific
I received this jacket as a gift from my fiance after he bought one for himself and really liked it. I'm a fan too. It's one of my favorite puffy jackets and really warm for its thickness and weight. But it doesn't really seem to be made for women. My first clue was that the zipper was on the other side. Then the location of the chest pocket is weird and higher than I'm used to. It goes right over my chest and it's awkward to put anything there because my chest is in the way. He bought me a size medium, which is what I usually wear in jackets but I'm occasionally a small. The size is fine but the chest is actually a little tight for my 32DD chest, which I find odd considering I'm usually between a small and medium (sz 6). I have icebreaker size small shirts that fit quite well. I'm 5'6" and the sleeves are a little long I can deal with that.

I’m in love
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This jacket is so lightweight but so warm! It’s perfect to run around in and makes a perfect mid layer on the mountain. I loved it so much I bought the vest too

So cozy and warm I bought 2
I wear this for work every day for working outside throughout the winter and it is very wet here. Rain gear only does so much so eventually the helix jacket will start getting wet but never do I get cold or feel the dampness, the merinoloft is amazing! I've recommended this to multiple coworkers and friends and everyone is so impressed.

Not as advertised
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) The headline for the Helix says, “warm winter outer layer.” - Not even close, even for our mild winters. The much-touted merino loft is wafer thin. The also-touted merino lining is not in the sleeves. Even worse, is the massive gap on the sides/inner sleeves with nothing but thin stretchy fabric. All this key information is buried or absent from the web page and I wouldn’t have ordered this jacket had I realized. In addition, the overall quality/style of the Helix is a giant step down from the usual Icebreaker standard. Jacket returned.
