A little too revealing with the thin solid fabric
Love IBEX. However, this specific Woolies top is just to thin, making it fairly see-through. I have IBEX Woolies in the striped version and this isn't a problem. In this specific top - just a little too revealing for me since it's supposed to be form-fitting and the material doesn't provide enough coverage in the solid color of black.
I would wear this everyday...
If I could get away with it...It's so light and comfy it seems crazy that it keeps me as warm as it does. It is the perfect length in the torso and also the sleeves -- long enough to keep the chill out, but not so long it starts bunching up.
After wearing it a few days, you can hardly tell it's stretched out at all...
I've worn it on a couple hikes and it was perfect over a tank in the February chill of the NW. Coupled with my Marmot Flair Fleece, I needed nothing else at the top.
Buy it, you will love it.
Michael Jordan's Lightweight Wool Zip Neck
The reason I brought The Great One (Jordan) into this discussion? Because of "Air Jordan." This is gossamer light, almost like a nylon (but NOT tight fitting like that). It's a temperature regulating piece too. I bought it on a Friday and wore it straight through Sunday night. It's that comfortable. (Disclaimer - Verde, my PR agency, does the PR for Ibex).
Super-comfy! No itch! When zipped felt the zipper a little but didn't affect me very much since I don't zip all the way up. Kept shape very well, didn't stretch out after multiple wears like capeline sometimes can. I would def recommend and buy again!!
Perfect wool layer. No itch and washes great in cold, hang to dry. High t-neck keeps out the cold and arms are long to provide great wrist coverage and don't ride up your arm.
I thought it was a little too thin.
I ordered this item and then returned it. The color was a little brighter than what appeared on my computer screen- I like more earthy tones. Also the fabric was very thin and when stretched across my D-cups I could see the t-shirt underneath. It made my breasts a little too noticeable, if you know what I mean.
