The Equipe Bib Shorts utilize a broad fabric story to achieve the perfect balance of maximum performance and all-day comfort that the pros crave. Hincapie constructs the Equipe around two key fabrics: AT2 Tour Lycra Power, and AT2 Transition Lycra. The inner Power Lycra 'lining,' is the contact point for your skin, providing compressive support for your muscles at key points. The outer Transition Lycra 'shell' still moves with your body, but its lighter-weight ribbed polyester helps pull moisture off the garment and speed evaporation on the warmest summer rides. Both of these fabrics provide SPF 30+ superior protection from harmful ultraviolet rays. Hincapie also finishes the wind-facing fabric faces and leg bands with their textured DimpleTek fabric, to smoothen airflow over the short. Because of the compressive nature of the Lycra Power already holding the short in place, Hincapie is able to dramatically relax the stretch tension on the upper straps, using their super-soft, self-aerating Diamond Mesh to prevent chafing and enhance cooling under your jersey. These fantastically stretchy and moisture-wicking shoulder straps are especially comfortable for the longer torsos of taller riders.

Finally, to ensure the short is comfortable enough for the harsh cobbles on the Spring classics, and cool enough for the hottest climbs into Basque country during the Giro, Hincapie furnishes the Equipe with their seamless and multi-density Team Chamois. Designed to move with your body as you pedal, this insert is perforated in the sides, and features a generous channel down the center for superior air transport, and perineal relief.

While the Hincapie Equipe Bib Shorts should fit true to size, expect a slightly compressive fit. They are available in Black Gunmetal, Fire, and True Blue colorways, in sizes Small through XX-Large.
