This hoodie makes an excellent base layer in colder weather and as a single layer for warmer days. I used it for camping trips, hiking, biking and skiing; it's versatile, fits well and worked fine with a mid-weight ski sweater under my bibs. The hood is light and comfortable enough that I don't mind pulling it up when my ears get cold. This hoodie probably would've lasted a few years. Unfortunately, I have to order another one because it (and another one of my favorite sweaters) was cut off of me by paramedics after a serious auto collision. Luckily, there are some things that can be replaced. I'm looking forward to having this one again, and its practical comfort.
