Charge the mountain with the Head Skis USA Hammer 130 Ski Boot. Incorporating a three-piece shell with 360-degrees of foot and shin protection, this aggressive boot allows you to drop cliffs without having to brace for shin bang, drive your heavy skis through powder packed trees, and shimmy down bumps without losing your toe nails.
If you have a background in racing, you’ll appreciate the Hammer’s super stiff 130 flex, which can be backed down to 120 through the Flex Tuning system when conditions soften up. A similarly race-inspired narrow last helps to eliminate any slop that might try to throw off your game. An interchangeable tongue creates an open throat shell for progressive flex during landings and a more forgiving feel.
And even though the Hammer sports a hard-hitting name, it's really a big softie on the inside with a rubberized layer underneath the liner, a shock absorbing toe box, and a gel shin saver inserted into the tongue. The Walkgrip sole ensures solid traction when you're hiking to the goods, while three sturdy aluminum buckles and a wide 50mm power strap come together to serve up a super stiff closure to this burly freeride boot.
