This ice axe is a traditional mountaineering axe with a slightly bent shaft, a pick, an adze, and a spike. The head of the ice axe is made out of steel that has been hot forged for incredible durability and features a lanyard hole so you can connect a leash. The aluminum G-bone shaft is lightweight and has a rubber handle with lateral grooves for extra grip. The spike is also made of steel, is pointed for easy penetration into snow or ice, and has a lanyard hole. the adze has a slight bevel for easily shipping away steps or hand hold and is apart of the one-piece head construction.
